Mother's Day

Well this Mother’s Day was definitely the best from my family. Scott took me out to Carrabas and shopping to pick anything I wanted. If that was not enough, the boys did the sweetest thing. I really like surprises. In fact I’ve tried to hint that before, but I have not mentioned it in a couple years. After Sunday school when we went to get the boys, I found out Granddad had taken all the boys except N4 on home before Sunday School. I wondered what they were up to. When I walked in the door, I came into a clean kitchen, lunch ready, the table set and such a sweet spot for me. They had given me the “Celebrate Your Special Day” plate, and decorated all around it with flowers, decorated paperclips, pictures and cards for Mother’s Day. They even cleaned the upstairs and made my bed that I missed from the mad rush to get us all in church on time. Thank you boys, Granddad and Scott for making my day so special. Oh and I topped it off with 15 minutes in the sun, a walk with the family and a great movie, “Flywheel,” which was the movie made by the same people that made “Fireproof.”

Yes,we do still need to get together. I feel like things are staring to slow down a bit with summer coming on. I'll let you know that next time we're planning on a family service project. We are actually feeling pretty good around here. I'm still in the 2nd trimester so I'm feeling well and not too yucky yet...that will come in about another month or so. :o) I hope all is well with you and your boys. I love the beach picture!
